Data Analyst - Hybrid

Data AnalystGenesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst for a hybrid position with a Major Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ or New York, NY. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.We are seeking a mid-level to senior Data Analyst to support the Cyber Data Operations team for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs. This individual will be adept at analyzing data sources, creating technical requirements, and scrubbing data from upstream source systems. The role involves working with both stakeholders and data development teams to understand data sources being loaded into the data warehouse.Responsibilities:Gather and organize data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reportsAnalyze trends, patterns, and business performance using Excel or BI toolsWork with stakeholders and data development teams to understand data sourcesCreate technical requirements for data integration projectsRequirements:10 years of experience in a Data Analyst roleExperience with SQL and relational databasesFamiliarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data StudioStrong attention to detail and ability to interpret data in a business contextEffective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teamsAble to work a hybrid schedule, based in the Jersey City, NJ office with willingness to travel to New York, NY for meetingsDesired skills:Proficiency in PythonUnderstanding of the GRC data spaceKnowledge of controls testing and how to automate controls testing projectsPay range up to: $61.52 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
