Urgent Care LPN

Pay: $37.17/hour
Location: Annapolis, MD (on-site / patient-facing; onsite as needed)
Job Type: Contract (temporary)

Schedule

• Work schedules are created in 6-week blocks following ~3 weeks of training/orientation .
• Shifts are typically 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours.
• A typical work week will be  two or three weekdays and every other weekend .
• This position also requires working on  some major holidays .

Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced  LPN to support a fast-paced urgent care/clinic environment. In this role, you’ll provide evidence-based care, support patient assessments, administer treatments/medications, and document in the EMR while collaborating with the broader clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral/injectable/IV/topical as applicable) and vaccines
• Perform patient assessments and vital signs monitoring; document clinical findings
• Support point-of-care testing and clinical procedures (including  phlebotomy )
• Accurately document patient history and care in the  electronic medical record (EMR)
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical partners

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN license (in good standing; no disciplinary actions)
• 1+ year experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience in  Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
  (Not a fit if experience is limited to long-term care only: nursing home/home health/LTAC/SNF)
• Experience with  phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• EMR proficiency ( Epic preferred )
• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS (must remain valid beyond the start of assignment)

• Short questionnaire responses (PC/UC/ER experience, EMR/Epic experience, schedule availability, confirmation it’s a contract role, any planned time off during training, and commute distance)
