We provide a wide range of walk-in, psychiatric, substance abuse, and crisis services to adults and children.About the RoleAs an ACT Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. Working as part of a multidisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, you will build strong therapeutic relationships while helping individuals navigate challenges, develop coping skills, and work toward their personal goals. Through counseling, crisis intervention, clinical assessment, and collaborative treatment planning, you will provide support where it is needed most and help individuals achieve greater stability, independence, and connection within their communities.Facilitating relationships and serving as a link between the company, parents, guardians, local agencies and the communityMinimizing the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with the recipient’s daily living and personal development, providing supportive counselingSupporting the client in the development of various skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger managementParticipating in a first responder on-call system available to consumers and/or his/her natural support network on a 24/7/365 basis; coordinates “first response" resources according to consumer need and the PCPPerforming Case Management functions of linking and arranging for services and referralsWorking closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and providing feedback, standardizing procedures and expediting PCP implementationEnsuring that all initial and reauthorizations for services occur in a timely fashionMonitoring utilization of service to ensure that it is effective, appropriate, and within the limits set forth in both rule, PCP, and the service authorizationCoordinating transition to another level/type of care for the clientLeadership responsibilities including coaching, performance management, hiring and other related duties.CompensationThis role is compensated on a salaried basis, providing consistent earnings aligned with the responsibilities and expectations of the position.Compensation: $54,372 - $73,494Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience.What You Can ExpectConsistent referral volume and established patient baseAdministrative and scheduling supportFlexible scheduling optionsSupportive clinical and operational leadershipOpportunities to build your preferred clinical focus areasStreamlined onboarding and credentialing supportResponsibilitiesProvide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessionsMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationCollaborate with care teams as neededMaintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standardsParticipate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level)QualificationsAt Minimum must have a Master's Degree in counseling, social work or related field.Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare in the state of North Carolina; Licenses include LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LMFT or Licensed PsychologistA minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with mental and/or behavioral health issues that include writing person-centered plans, conducting effective group therapy and providing mental health diagnosesValid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportationExperience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.Why Join UsWe are focused on creating a model where clinicians are supported, not overloaded.
