Details Med/Surg Acute unit within a critical access hospital setting Day shift schedule, 0700-1930, up to 36 hours per week Uses EPIC EMR system Requirements Active CA RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) EPIC EMR experience required Minimum 2 years of specialty experience, with recent experience within the last 3 months BSN and acute care facility experience preferred No prior license disciplinary actions permitted Additional Information Delivers coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient group, supervising and directing various levels of nursing staff Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate care Participates in discharge planning to support continuity of care Provides patient and family education throughout the care process Located in a small coastal community offering access to redwood forests, beaches, and outdoor recreation Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined No radius rule applies; local candidates are paid the same rate as travelers All required vaccinations are mandatory as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered American Traveler Job ID P-757820.
