In this role, you’ll report directly to the Senior Director, DTP Marketing and play a central part in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to bring this transformative new treatment for people living with HIV.In this role you’ll:Drive development of bold creative campaigns that empower patients and inspire communities.Amplify the patient voice through culturally competent messaging. Be at the forefront of healthcare innovation, leveraging cutting-edge insights and multi-channel engagement to make a real impact.If you’re passionate about making a difference, thrive in dynamic environments, and want to help redefine what’s possible in patient marketing, Gilead wants to meet you!Role Overview & Responsibilities:Supports development of the DTP strategy, launch planning, and the annual patient marketing tactical plan.Develops targeted patient marketing campaigns and media plan across channels including print, digital, social media, out-of-home, point of care, and television.Generates and utilizes market research insights to enhance and refine promotional strategies and tactics.Creates culturally competent patient materials and collaborates with community partners and cross-functional teams to amplify the patient voice.Identifies opportunities to pilot new ideas to reach and engage people living with HIV in innovative ways that drive business results.Defines and tracks marketing KPIs, using data to drive continuous improvement and performance optimization.Contributes to the HIV portfolio strategy, providing insights and recommendations on go-to-market approaches and cross-brand synergies.Manages agency relationships and budgets, ensuring high-quality output and fiscal discipline.Collaborates closely with Regulatory, Legal, and Medical Affairs on the review and approval of promotional materials.Ensues compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.Basic Qualifications:12+ Years with BS/BAOR10+ Years with MS/MA or MBAPreferred Qualifications:Proven track record of developing and executing integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns and media plans targeting consumers/patientsExpertise in communication planning and patient activation.Ability to conceive, develop and implement multi-dimensional marketing and business plansProven ability in the execution of multiple/complex initiatives within the marketing mix which require tactful cross-functional executionStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills and ability to efficiently and productively communicate to a variety of groups and audiencesDemonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materialsAbility to successfully work with external agencies, including advertising, public relations and medical education vendors to develop programs and materialsDemonstrated ability to manage budgets, with an understanding of expense budget planning and trackingAn MBA with 10+ years of pharma/biotech marketing experienceProduct launch experienceDemonstrated excellence in project management, including prioritization and execution highly preferredThrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment highly preferredListens carefully to other points of views and can adapt style and content based on audiences highly preferredAbility to travel 15-20% of timePeople Leader Accountabilities•Create Inclusion - knowing the business value of diverse teams, modeling inclusion, and embedding the value of diversity in the way they manage their teams. •Develop Talent - understand the skills, experience, aspirations and potential of their employees and coach them on current performance and future potential. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
