Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical unit responsibilities. The role involves providing patient-centered care and ensuring clinical excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and perform EKGs.
• Apply and troubleshoot respiratory equipment including vents, Cpap, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen devices.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and other staff to coordinate patient care.
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond to patient needs, assist with activities of daily living, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Titrate IV drips such as heparin, Bumex, and Lasix, excluding cardiac drip titrations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to floating assignments.
• Experience with titratable IV drips and telemetry monitoring preferred.
• Must comply with 50-mile radius submission rule and provide a valid driver's license.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond quickly to patient needs.
