Oyster Shucker Share Apply Part-time $15.00 - 17.00 per hour This position is part time. Primarily Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Role and Responsibilities Set up and stocking oyster bar with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. prepping sauces, inventory oysters, updating oyster board list) Shuck oysters and clams cleanly and quickly; prioritize the quality of the product Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions Maintain a sanitary and clean work station Stock inventory appropriately Run oysters to guest's tables when necessary to ensure ticket time standards Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests Other duties as assigned Requirements Some shucking experience is preferred, but not required Must have weekend availability Some line cook or prep cook experience is valuable, but not required Teamwork mentality Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Ability to multitask, quickly yet thoroughly Must be at least 16 years of age Have reliable means of transportation Have the ability to lift and carry 10-55 lbs.
