We're looking for someone to join our Fabrication Team.

This is a hands-on build role: you'll cut, glue, clean, and inspect display pedestals made from laminates, veneers, and acrylics, using table saws, routers, and sanders. The pieces you craft will hold art in galleries, products in stores, and brands at events across the country, and you'll build them with a team working toward a shared production goal.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Building display pedestals for art collectors, retail brands, event producers, and galleries.
• Working primarily with sheet goods (laminates, veneers, acrylics) and power tools: table saws, hand sanders, routers, and more.
• Cutting, gluing up, cleaning, inspecting, and more.
• Collaborating to achieve the shop-wide production goal.
• Learning about lean manufacturing aka continuous improvement: 5S, pull vs push, one-piece flow, the 5 why's, heijunka, and other tenants of lean manufacturing.
• Joining an incredible team dedicated to creating the best experience possible for both their team and their customers.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday –– 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

Who you are:

• You love working with your hands and know how to hustle.
• You’re a person of integrity and good humor. We hire for Character before Competence.

• You want to learn, from new production processes to business philosophies.
• You're comfortable with power tools (or keen to learn).
• You can pick up 50 lbs boxes.

Your experience:

• Experience in a woodshop or manufacturing setting is a plus. You'll be working with your hands, tools, and materials every day, so any relevant experience building and working with your hands is going to help, especially cabinets and/or laminates.
• Bonus if you have AutoCAD or CNC experience.
• If you've never worked with tools and sheet goods but are eager to learn and love our core values, we provide on-the-job training.
• Strong verbal communication and dedication to keeping the peace is essential. (Our shop is a no-drama space and each team member actively participates in building a safe work environment)

Compensation + Benefits:

• Payrange starts at $17.50/hr, depending on experience
