Description

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is required to join our team for various anesthesiology services.

Requirements

Current license as a registered professional nurse.
Compliance with state statutory requirements for advanced practice nursing.
Graduation from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor.
Certification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or recertification by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Case Mix

General and colorectal
OB/GYN
Urology
ENT
Orthopedics
Spine fusions
Ophthalmology
Pacemakers
Cardioversions
TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography)
Gastrointestinal

No cases involving heads/neurosurgery, traumas, or open-heart surgeries. Pediatric cases are typically ENT patients over one year old, focusing on Tonsillectomy & Adenoidectomy (T&A) and Myringotomy & Tubes (M&T).

Work Environment

Supervision ratio of 1 to 2.5
Overtime expected
No on-call duties
Five anesthesia sites
Team consists of four MDs and three CRNAs
Paper and pen charting system

License Information

If CT license is in hand, processing time is 30-60 days.
Without CT license, processing time is 60-120 days.
