Position Description
CGI is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline initiatives within a large financial services environment. This role will focus on AWS infrastructure, infrastructure automation, and the migration and modernization of application pipelines to GitLab.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with AWS, Terraform, GitLab, and Jenkins and be comfortable working in an enterprise environment with established DevOps processes and controls. Responsibilities include supporting AWS infrastructure, maintaining and improving automated deployment pipelines, migrating existing pipelines to GitLab, and partnering with application teams to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.

This position is required in one of the following locations: Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN, Columbia, SC, Birmingham, AL

Your future duties and responsibilities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. 5+ years of hands on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
. Experience with GitLab CI/CD, including migrating existing application pipelines to GitLab
. Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) and AWS infrastructure automation
. Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines
. Working knowledge of Jenkins and enterprise build/deployment processes
. Experience with source control platforms such as GitLab and Bitbucket
. Familiarity with UrbanCode Deploy (UCD) or similar deployment automation tools
. Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
. Ability to work effectively with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams in a large enterprise environment
. Financial services or other highly regulated enterprise experience is beneficial

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.​

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $71,700.00 $125,400.00.
