What You ll Do

As a Floater Nurse at MVA, you ll step in and support various departments based on need, making each day both challenging and rewarding. In this role, you will:

• Rotate among different specialties , including surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, emergency, and more, quickly adapting to each department s protocols.
• Provide hands-on assistance during procedures from general patient care and diagnostic workups to advanced interventions under the guidance of senior technicians and specialists.
• Manage a range of technical tasks , such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, medication administration, and patient record-keeping.
• Collaborate with diverse teams , learning from specialists and fellow technicians to expand your expertise across multiple areas of veterinary medicine.
• Maintain a high level of organization , ensuring each department is stocked with necessary supplies and that equipment is ready for immediate use.

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position with the following available schedules:

• Monday Thursday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Tuesday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM

Compensation

• Starting at $23.00/hour
