Mini Ovens Lead-Food Manufacturing

Mini Ovens Lead Location: Kennesaw, GA Full-Time | First Shift | Onsite Pay: 16.50/hr Join Our Production Team! Atlanta Cheesecake Company, a subsidiary of Dessert Holdings, is seeking a Mini Ovens Lead to support daily production operations and help drive safety, quality, and productivity on the production floor. This role serves as a key support resource for the Production Manager and assists with training, coaching, and coordinating team activities. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a production line of approximately 11 employees. Provide work instructions, training, and coaching to team members. Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and company policies. Monitor production performance and assist with meeting hourly production goals. Complete and maintain production documentation, downtime tracking, attendance tracking, and schedule reporting. Communicate quality, safety, equipment, and production concerns to supervisors and managers. Delegate tasks appropriately and monitor completion to ensure efficient workflow. Support production changeovers and help identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Ensure employees follow SOPs and hold team members accountable for compliance with established processes. While the manager is responsible for final decisions, the lead plays a key support role by assisting in decision‑making, quickly identifying and resolving production issues, and contributing effectively under pressure. Promote a safe, clean, organized, and productive work environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum 1 year of food manufacturing or production experience required. Previous experience leading teams, providing work instructions, or conducting training preferred. Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations. Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Basic computer and data entry skills preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift. Ability to push, pull, lift, and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to work in a warm production environment near ovens. Ability to work around common food allergens, including wheat, dairy, eggs, and tree nuts. Why Join Us?
