About the Position

Job Title: Neuro Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:45 - 17:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Ability to work with various charting systems, preferably Epic Experience in teaching and training is necessary Description: Responsible for providing nursing care in the Neuro Operating Room. Must be able to work 10-hour days with on-call requirements. Must be willing to participate in training students and new staff. Experience with a variety of surgical procedures is required. Familiarity with minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques is a plus. Expected to utilize various surgical equipment relevant to the operating room. Demonstrated ability to perform within a high-stress environment. Knowledge of infection control practices is essential. Must adhere to safety protocols and universal procedure guidelines. Willingness to complete required competencies and educational modules annually. Participation in a strict adherence to policies and procedures is mandatory. Expectations regarding performance and patient care are high, reflecting the quality standards of the facility.
