Development Officer

Looking for a passionate and driven Development Officer to join our vibrant nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a brighter future for youth and families. As a key member of our Advancement Team, you will play a vital role in cultivating meaningful relationships with donors, prospects, and community partners, helping to secure the resources necessary to support our mission. This full-time, remote position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible impact while growing your career in fundraising and relationship management.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a proven track record in donor relations or fundraising, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You should be comfortable making direct appeal visits, preparing compelling proposals, and leveraging data to inform your strategies.

Preferred skills include experience with moves management, annual and major gift programs, and familiarity with donor databases or CRM systems. Having a background in nonprofit management, marketing, or related fields is advantageous, along with at least five years of experience in a similar relationship-driven role.

Candidates with a bachelor's degree and previous success in managing donor portfolios will stand out. Willingness to travel locally for meetings, events, and site visits, along with the flexibility to work evenings or weekends when necessary, is essential.

Compensation

• Target salary: $85,000

Benefits
PTO

• 1 to 3 years of service: 16 PTO days
• After 3 years: 21 PTO days
• After 5 years: 25 PTO days
• Two floating holidays annually (must be used by December 31 and do not roll over)
• Up to one week of PTO can be carried over each year
