What You'll Do:

• Provide expert nursing care within the medical/surgical unit, using the nursing process to assess and plan patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality and safety.
• Educate patients and families, tailoring communication to diverse populations.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Embrace continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to unit and department goals.

What You Need:
Required:

• Current RN license in Louisiana
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Certification in a clinical specialty related to medical/surgical nursing
