Restaurant Manager

Overview Dash is a quick-service deli located inside Daily's convenience stores. The Restaurant Manager oversees all restaurant operations. Managers train personnel, consistently demonstrate exceptional customer service, and quickly resolve problems. The position requires flexible hours and night/weekend/holiday availability as needed. Compensation Base pay range: $40,000.00/yr - $50,000.00/yr New Location! Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000/year Bonus Potential: $1,000 - $6,000/year Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance Plans; Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Sick Leave; 401(k) with Company Match; Education Reimbursement Program; Career Advancement Opportunities Essential Functions Oversee all aspects of food production and customer service Adhere to company policies and procedures Maintain cooking equipment and utensils Assist with food prep and cleaning Cook and prepare customer orders Recruit, hire, and train store personnel Schedule employees within labor budget Resolve customer concerns Mediate employee grievances Evaluate and counsel employees, submitting appropriate documentation Run and review daily reports Maintain site appearance standards Ensure the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas Submit and manage maintenance requests Implement and enforce health and safety requirements Order product and control merchandise inventories Monitor P&L reports to maintain expected margins Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, & company policies Other duties as required Education And Experience High school diploma or equivalent; secondary degree preferred 2+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a QSR or deli environment Working knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices Basic Qualifications & Physical Requirements 18+ years of age Valid driver license & reliable transportation High School diploma or equivalent Excellent communication in English (hear, speak, read, & write) Verifiable work history Outgoing and friendly demeanor Willingness to work flexible hours Safely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distances Stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours Climb a step ladder, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, bend, and crouch Count and weigh product; calculate basic math using decimals and fractions Perform inventory, order, & audit functions on a tablet Read and follow a series of instructions Withstand cold temperatures for short periods of time, such as when stocking freezers Basic computer proficiency including email and Microsoft Office programs Work efficiently in a fast-paced food service environment Preferred: Food Protection Manager Certification Categories and Job Details Categories: Deli, Quick Service, Retail, Customer Service, Convenience Store, Inventory Control, Personnel Management Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industries: Retail Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at First Coast Energy, LLP ; Daily's Convenience Stores by 2x St Augustine, FL $63,000 - $80,000 1 year ago We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
