The company offers a collaborative, people-focused environment that emphasizes accountability, strong relationships, customer satisfaction, and hands-on leadership.Position OverviewThe Director of Operations will oversee daily business activities, manage operational teams, and ensure consistent execution across multiple functions. This leader will work closely with senior management to improve operational efficiency, resolve challenges, develop team members, and support continued organizational growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop operational managers and frontline teamsOversee daily workflows, service delivery, and operational performanceManage approximately nine field teams through existing supervisory personnelMonitor purchasing, resource allocation, and quality-control processesMaintain operational standards through regular site visits and team engagementResolve customer concerns and manage escalated service issuesStrengthen internal processes, coordination, and accountabilityBuild strong relationships with employees and promote team retentionCoach managers and support leadership developmentIdentify operational challenges and implement practical solutionsCollaborate with senior leadership to support business growthQualificationsThe ideal candidate is a hands-on, adaptable leader with exceptional emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrated experience managing teams and operational processes.Key qualifications and attributes include:Demonstrated success leading teams, supervising personnel, and maintaining operational accountabilityStrong emotional intelligence and the ability to establish trust across diverse teamsExcellent communication and listening skills, including navigating challenging employee and customer conversationsA hands-on leadership approach and willingness to work alongside frontline employeesSound judgment, independent problem-solving abilities, and a strong sense of personal responsibilityA proactive mindset, natural urgency, and willingness to address problems before they escalateExperience coordinating operational activities, managing competing priorities, and maintaining consistent executionAbility to mentor, coach, and develop employees and emerging leadersCultural awareness, adaptability, and respect for Hawaii's local workforce and communitiesReceptiveness to feedback and willingness to learn unfamiliar processes and operational practicesA customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance service quality and business prioritiesAn approachable, collaborative leadership style that promotes accountability and team engagementExperience in military leadership, hospitality, logistics, or other operationally intensive environments is highly relevant. Direct industry experience is not required.Work Environment & TravelThis is an on-site leadership position on Oahu, Hawaii, requiring regular engagement with operational teams and visits to active work locations. Local candidates or individuals with established ties to Hawaii are strongly preferred. Relocation may be considered for exceptional candidates.CompensationBase Salary: $125K–$150KOn-Target Earnings: $163K–$195K annuallyBonus: Performance-based incentive of approximately 30% of base salary.
