Lead CT MRI Tech

Job Summary Lead MRI Technologist (CT/MRI) at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital. Responsible for performing CT scans, MR images, radiographic images, and providing patient care across all age ranges. Supports departmental functions and quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Operate equipment to produce studies of designated body areas. Position patients utilizing immobilization devices. Explain procedures and address patient concerns. Assist physicians with invasive procedures. Apply knowledge of age‑specific patient needs. Train, orient and mentor staff. Practice radiation protection techniques. Provide a safe environment for contrast material administration. Assist with patient transport. Follow Standard Precautions and use PPE. Identify, correct, and report health and safety hazards. Complete employee scheduling for MRI/CT per policy. Approve employee PTO within department standards. Ensure adequate supplies and limit excess storage. Maintain MRI/CT accreditation and regulatory standards. Develop and maintain policies and protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization of areas. Ensure compliance with JC, CMS, ACR and other standards. Complete yearly staff competencies and evaluations. Create and maintain processes to meet current TAT goals. Assist director with HR issues. Participate in hiring of new employees. Hold staff accountable to department and hospital goals. Create an enjoyable work environment with team involvement. Maintain charge dictionary and supply charging. Maintain accurate patient charging with audit checks. Maintain EMAR scanning goals. Coordinate invasive procedures and outside studies. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment. ARRT-CT certification. ARRT‑R certification. RT certification. Graduation from an accredited vocational school.
