Certified Surgical Technologist - CVOR

As a CVOR CST you will:

• Scrub for vascular and endovascular surgery and assist with open repairs and percutaneous approaches.
• Prepare surgical supplies and equipment for scheduled and emergency procedures

Assist in prepping patients, including cleansing and draping surgical sites * Work closely with surgeons and the surgical team during procedures * Maintain accurate instrument and sharps counts * Handle surgical specimens for lab processing * Apply post-procedure dressings and/or casts as needed A few must-haves for CSTs in the CVOR: * Active CST license in the state of Indiana- facility will NOT accept TS-C or grandfather situations * Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association * 2+ years of recent CVOR surgical tech experience * Must be able to scrub hearts and non-CVOR cases (ortho and general) * Must be okay with being On-Call, as it is required * Ability to stay calm under pressure and work both independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in basic vital signs and medication administration Why join Interim HealthCare Staffing?
