North Springs Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team in Colorado Springs. As a 24/7 emergency animal hospital, we provide specialized veterinary care, including cardiology, surgery, and internal medicine, with a focus on compassionate service for pets and their owners. Daily Responsibilities: Provide medical care to small animals in need of emergency or specialty services Perform digital and dental radiography to diagnose and treat various conditions Administer preventive care and vaccines to ensure the health and well-being of all patients Conduct endoscopy, ultrasound, and x-rays for diagnostic purposes Perform surgeries, including orthopedic and emergency procedures Required Skills: Fear Free Certified to ensure a stress-free environment for patients Experience with IDEXX Cornerstone Practice Management System Proficiency in anesthesia and emergency medicine Ability to provide compassionate care in critical situations Strong communication skills to educate pet owners on treatment plans Nice to Have Skills: Experience with exotics and urgent care Familiarity with vaccine administration and internal medicine Knowledge of emergency care and dental radiography Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $120,000.00 Competitive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off Opportunities for professional development and continuing education Company Information: North Springs Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center is a 24/7 emergency animal hospital in Colorado Springs providing specialized veterinary care, including cardiology, surgery, and internal medicine, with a focus on compassionate service for pets and their owners.
