Sr Systems Engineer - Space Systems

Salary: $106,500 - 197,500 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in systems engineering, computer science, or a closely related discipline, plus at least 6 years of relevant experience; a graduate degree with 4+ years of related experience is also acceptable, or 10+ years of equivalent experience in place of a degree.
• We look for 4+ years of hands-on experience with systems engineering principles and practices.
• We need professional experience in systems modeling and simulation.
• We need professional experience developing products for space-based applications.
• You must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.
• Preferred strengths include an active U.S. security clearance, a CSEP or similar certification, experience with SysML, prior work in aerospace or defense, strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and the capability to lead complex technical projects and teams.

• We manage complex projects or processes with general oversight.
• We support concept of operations development, along with requirements analysis, decomposition, and flow-down across system levels.
• We perform systems modeling and simulation to assess performance and verify requirements.
• We communicate across functions and beyond our team to build alignment on processes, practices, and procedures.
• We provide leadership and technical direction across the organization.
• In this role, we help design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver critical space-based remote sensing systems for our customers.
