Inventory Analyst

Inventory AnalystA national food and consumer-products organization is seeking an Inventory Analyst to protect inventory accuracy across SAP, warehouse-management, and internal systems. This role investigates transaction failures, reconciles system balances, and helps supply chain, finance, and operations work from reliable data.The best fit has one to three years of inventory, supply chain, operations, or finance-support experience and can move comfortably between detailed system work and cross-functional problem solving.Location: Broomfield, ColoradoSchedule: Standard business hoursWork Setting: Hybrid corporate office environment; exact in-office cadence to be confirmedRole Type: Contract-to-hireContract Duration: 6+ month contract with potential to lead to full time role within supply chain/ops/logistics/ or similar as new openings come availablePay Rate: $30.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience and client approvalBenefitsEligible CRG contract employees may have access to medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days.Life and disability insurance options, subject to plan eligibility and enrollment terms.Weekly pay, direct deposit, referral bonus opportunities, and CRG assignment support.401(k) eligibility begins after 12 months as a CRG employee.Colorado paid sick leave accrues at one hour per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours annually, equivalent to six eight-hour days for a full-time employee.Eligibility, waiting periods, plan details, and employee costs are confirmed during onboarding.ResponsibilitiesMaintain inventory accuracy across SAP, WMS, and internal reporting systems.Monitor and resolve IDOC and EDI errors affecting inventory and transaction data.Reconcile inventory between systems, investigate variances, document findings, and drive root-cause correction.Research discrepancies involving receipts, transfers, shipments, adjustments, and financial records.Support order-to-cash activities, including deductions, credits, and transaction research.Manage purchase orders from creation and pricing validation through confirmation, delivery tracking, and closeout.Partner with Accounts Payable and Finance on invoice issues, payments, and accruals.Maintain vendor setup and master-data integrity.Use Excel and Power BI to analyze trends, isolate exceptions, and communicate findings.Coordinate issue resolution across supply chain, finance, operations, vendors, and leadership.QualificationsOne to three years of inventory analysis, supply chain, operations, inventory accounting, or finance-support experience.Hands-on SAP experience involving inventory, purchasing, order processing, or related transactions.Experience reconciling data, investigating discrepancies, and following issues through resolution.Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, filters, and large-data-set analysis.Experience with Power BI or a comparable business-intelligence platform.Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across business functions.Preferred QualificationsFood, beverage, dairy, CPG, manufacturing, distribution, or shared-services experience.WMS and EDI or SAP IDOC troubleshooting exposure.Purchase-order, vendor-master, AP, accrual, deduction, credit, or OTC experience.HighRadius experience or an accounting/finance foundation.
