About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Post Partum/Mom Baby Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS or ALCS-OB NRP EFM BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Fetal Monitoring and Assessment Emergency Response Postpartum Care Time Management Description: Candidates must be able to start 7-10 days from offer acceptance. Weekly orientation is conducted on Mondays. Blocked scheduling options are available. The facility has a total of 9 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. The electronic health records system used is Centricity and Meditech. The nursing staff will be supervised by a designated supervisor. The patient population primarily consists of adults. Preferred skills include experience in handling common diagnoses and treatments. Common diagnoses may consist of normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage. Suitable qualities for this role include adaptability, being a team player, attention to detail, stamina, strong communication skills, and empathy. Dress code includes scrubs in ceil blue color. Inappropriate attire includes non-compliant scrub colors, scrubs with slogans, graphics, or offensive content, and inappropriate footwear.
