Sports Coach

St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School Athletic Coach St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School is currently seeking Coaches for the following teams this school year. Candidates must complete an Applitrack form on the Galveston-Houston Arch-Diocese website, complete online Safe Environment Training and the required School Annual Trainings (Bloodline Pathogens, First Aid & Sudden Illness, AED & CPR, Anaphylaxis & Epinephrine, Child Abuse & Neglect). This is a stipend only position. When the games begin in late August, teams will practice twice and play twice a week. We are part of the Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association, which is divided into North and South divisions. Teams normally play an away and home game against each school in their division, resulting in travel. Parents are responsible for transporting their students to games. Students vary in skill level; some have experience while others do not. We do not cut athletes, so every student who wants to play may try out. The JV team is developmental and the varsity team is competitive. Ideal candidates have coaching or playing experience, knowledge of the game, excellent communication skills, a good rapport with players and parents, and serve as a positive Christian example for our student athletes. #J-18808-Ljbffr Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston
