About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: IMC Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience in the specialty License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Cardiac telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required - Strong experience in managing cardiac drips and interpreting dysrhythmias - Ability to manage care for patients with various cardiac conditions - Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting Description: Responsible for providing care to patients in a cardiac telemetry unit. Deliver expert nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, administering appropriate interventions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care effectively. Provide pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac interventions. Educate patients and their families on cardiac health and disease management. Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in shared governance. Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and infection control measures. Manage arterial and central venous access sites with a focus on patient safety. Utilize appropriate charting systems to document patient information and care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive work environment. Maintain competency in advanced cardiac technologies and procedures. Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
