Therapeutic Counselor

Role Overview: The Therapeutic Counselor provides counseling and assessment services to individuals and families in a community-based setting, focusing on issues such as depression, addiction, stress, and self-esteem. They collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, facilitate counseling groups, and support program participants. Responsibilities include documenting progress, billing, participating in meetings, and ensuring confidentiality and accreditation standards are met. The role also involves crisis intervention and supervision of activities for participants.
