Child & Family Support Specialist (Therapeutic Mentor)

Location: HBT Salary Range: $22–$24/hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide individualized and flexible services to youth and families with multiple needs • Deliver interventions designed to maximize skills and strengths • Support families through structured, strength-based therapeutic relationships • Assist with implementing individualized plans developed by families and providers • Engage youth and families to reduce child protective concerns and encourage resiliency • Participate in clinical services and assessments to support emotional and behavioral needs

What You Bring:

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree preferred plus 1 year experience, OR Lived experience plus 5+ years working with children and families • Essential Skills: Experience working with children and families with significant mental health or behavioral challenges Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively • Requirements: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Fluency in English required; multilingual skills a bonus • Preferred: Growth mindset and willingness to learn Lived experience valued
