Occupational Therapist (OT) - 13 Week Contract
Location: Wichita, KS
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 8A - 4P
Job Description: Join a collaborative and skilled team as an Occupational Therapist in a complex acute care environment. You will work with a diverse patient population, managing a daily census of approximately 250 active consults. Enjoy flexibility in scheduling and a supportive atmosphere that values autonomy in care planning.
Responsibilities
- Conduct OT evaluations and develop treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions to enhance patient recovery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system (Meditech).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 6 months of acute care hospital OT experience.
- Active Kansas OT licensure.
- BLS certification preferred.
