Job Title: Quality / Test Engineer
Job Description

This role involves devising sampling procedures and designing forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. You will establish programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production equipment, as well as testing, measurement, and analytical equipment within the facility. Additionally, you will write training materials and conduct training sessions on quality control activities. This position supports quality control engineering efforts across various areas, including design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative applications. Experience in evaluating product integrity and ensuring internal regulatory standards are met is essential.

Responsibilities

• Devise sampling procedures and design forms/instructions for quality data.
• Establish programs for evaluating production equipment precision and accuracy.
• Write and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
• Support quality control engineering efforts in various domains such as design, process control, and product evaluation.
• Evaluate product integrity and ensure compliance with internal regulatory standards.
• Manage material flow and prioritize logistics for critical materials.
• Optimize processes to reduce internal and external scrap.
• Conduct process and quality audits.

• Experience in quality control and test equipment.
• Proficiency in technical writing and test development.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Experience with engineering-related computer applications and software, such as CAD.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in close management of material flow.
• Experience in process optimization and logistics alignment.
• Training development skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hodges, SC.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hodges,SC.
