About the Role

The Company is in search of a CFO Advisor to provide high-level strategic financial guidance during a critical phase of growth and preparation for an IPO. The ideal candidate is a seasoned financial expert, with a background as a CFO or senior finance executive in a tech startup or high-growth company. Responsibilities include offering strategic advice on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, guiding the team on capital raising strategies, and providing insights into IPO readiness. The role also involves mentoring internal finance team members and participating in board or executive meetings as needed. Applicants for the CFO Advisor role at the company should have a proven track record in financial strategy, fundraising, and scaling operations, particularly in a fast-paced, Silicon Valley-like environment. Direct involvement in at least one successful IPO is essential, with a deep understanding of the process from pre-IPO preparation to post-IPO operations. The role requires expertise in GAAP/IFRS, financial modeling, and tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or advanced Excel. Excellent communication skills are a must, as is the ability to distill complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, with an MBA or CPA being preferred. The position is part-time and remote-friendly, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the right candidate.
