Quality Engineer

Quality EngineerWe are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for leading and facilitating the implementation of global and site-specific quality initiatives and their continual improvements. Responsible for the day-to-day site quality engineering activities.Duties:Follow and abide by all safety standards and expectations.Monitor and review process activities. Initiate engineering change requests. Complete Internal Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR).Responsible for and/or participate in Material Review Board (MRB) and Design Review Board.Plan and implement inspection instruction sheets and assist Inspectors.Conduct Statistical Process Control activities.Complete Internal Problem-Solving Reports.Corrective/Preventive action issuesTrain others as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager.Skills:Proficient in analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.Experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance and quality control methodologies.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Familiarity with QA/QC processes, tools, and techniques.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Qualifications:Proficient in quality system development, automotive quality systems/technical specificationsMust possess management system auditing and problem-solving skills and experience in customer concern management is essential.Must be computer efficient MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and AccessWorking knowledge of statistical techniques, data analysis and root cause toolsSelf-directed goal-oriented individual possessing excellent communication, presentation, and organization, and leadership skills.Ability to teach/train/facilitate and lead the execution of Quality initiatives in a team environment.Bachelor's degree in Materials or Manufacturing Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.If you are passionate about maintaining high-quality standards in manufacturing processes and have the skills required for this role, we encourage you to apply for the Quality Engineer position.Required Skills and Education:AS or BS in Industrial or Materials Engineering preferred but not required.About Dauch:Dauch Corporation is a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier serving the global automotive industry with a powertrain-agnostic product portfolio that supports electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles.
