Driver RecruiterThe Driver Recruiter's primary responsibility will be to build and develop a pipeline of experienced CDL candidates for NFI. Accountable for sourcing and recruiting activities including: establishing and maintaining relationships by working with military contacts, employment offices, truck driving schools, and technical colleges; conducting job fairs and seminars; attending trade shows (truck shows); and developing other viable recruiting sources.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a full understanding of the local CDL labor market, and identify effective market-specific sourcing toolsKnow where and how to reach drivers and maintain relationships with those drivers from the point of introduction through hireSource, recruit, screen, and interview experienced driver candidates, utilizing sales, research, and networking skills, including cold calling, e-mail, computer databases, and Internet recruiting resourcesMaintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the TenStreet applicant tracking system (ATS)Sell NFI's compensation and benefits package to those candidatesCoordinate and attend recruiting events at driving schools, job fairs, local communities, industry venues, etc.Assist qualified candidates in completing their employment applications, and ensure all necessary paperwork is sent to the Processing TeamWork with Hiring Managers to understand staffing needsPartner with operations management on recruiting activitiesPerform other special projects as assignedQualificationsBA/BS degree preferred; or high school diploma with demonstrated pro-active recruiting or sales experience1-2 years professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Human Resources or Recruiting (including internships)Outside sales experience or experience in the Transportation or Logistics industry a plusAbility to cultivate and maintain relationshipsExcellent knowledge of Internet candidate data miningProfessional demeanor with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsExceptional planning, time management, and project management skillsAbility to work in fast-paced environmentAbility to work independentlyStrong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essentialProficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with recruiting technologies a plusKnowledge of DOT requirements a plusAbility to travelWe are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $75,000.00, based on the national average for the position.
