IT Operations Specialist

IT Operations SpecialistWe're looking for a hands-on IT Operations Specialist to support our Technical Operations (TechOps) function within a real-time Fusion Centre environment in Scottsdale, AZ. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and documentation skills with practical experience in systems, networking, and operations workflows. This role is fully on-site in a secure facility and plays a key part in capturing and improving the technical backbone of live operations.Core Focus Areas:Shadowing and documenting live operational workflows, dependencies, and system interactionsMapping technical processes and identifying bottlenecks or inefficienciesCoordinating with cross-functional teams (Ops, DevOps, Infrastructure, Engineering) to streamline workflowsDrafting clear process documentation and improvement recommendationsCommunicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersKey Requirements:Strong technical documentation and analytical capabilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrior hands-on experience in at least two of the following:Windows workstation supportReal-time operations or command-center environmentsTCP/IP networking or systems administrationWeb application or infrastructure troubleshootingPreferred Background:Experience in NOC/SOC/Operations Center or equivalent 24x7 support environmentFamiliarity with monitoring tools, cloud diagnostics, or automation platformsComfortable collaborating with DevOps / Infrastructure teams7+ years of relevant technical experience
