What You'll Do

• Provide obstetric and gynecological care for assigned patients in a hospital setting
• Manage labor, delivery, and postpartum care for an average of 4,690 annual hospital deliveries
• Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Support residents from Family Medicine rotation on emergent obstetric cases
• Participate in emergent gynecology procedures and acute patient management
• Ensure documentation and compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Support NICU Level III patients and coordinate care with community providers

What You Need

• Valid California Medical License
• Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine or OB/GYN
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital obstetric care experience
• Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery, emergency gynecology, and NICU support
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

This assignment is at a well-respected hospital in Visalia, California, supporting a pseudo laborist program. The facility manages a high volume of deliveries annually and provides in-house anesthesia coverage 24/7. You will work alongside a dedicated team, supporting emergent OB/GYN cases, NICU patients, and community providers, ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
