Uphold patient safety and workplace safety standards, including reporting near misses and adhering to HIPAA and national safety protocols. Foster positive relationships with patients, visitors, and colleagues, demonstrating respect, integrity, empathy, and teamwork. Engage in continuous professional development through certifications, advanced education, and leadership opportunities.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program or possess at least five years of acute care nursing experience if from a non-accredited school. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is also accepted. Area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty credentials are required and maintained.

Must hold an active Registered Nurse license valid in the state of practice. This position offers a first shift schedule with a 40-hour workweek, ideal for nurses seeking to advance their career in a supportive and collaborative environment within the broader Midwest healthcare community.
