Record Center Specialist

Job TitleThe role involves physically demanding tasks that require frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward. The primary responsibilities include moving, arranging, lifting, and loading storage boxes, bins, and totes, which can weigh 24 lbs+ These tasks are performed manually and with the aid of hand carts.ResponsibilitiesProcess orders and move boxes containing files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.Lift and carry boxes weighing from 10 lbs+ regularly, without assistance.Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.Read and write English to process orders and manage inventory.Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and locate boxes.Operate a handheld scanner.Climb and balance on ladders.Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.Essential FunctionsWalk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.Work independently to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including navigating inclines, stairs, and changes in walking surface/elevation.Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance for prolonged periods.Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids.Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
