Title : Plant Operator I
Location: Savannah, GA 31404
Duration: 0-12+ months
Shift: 1st Rotating Shift, 28-day schedule, known as the DuPont schedule. (6am-6pm for Day, 6pm-6am for Night)
Pay Rate: $28.00/HR

Job Description:

1. Loading bulk trucks with product - involves using a bulk loading system and hooking hoses to compartments on tanker trailers and pumping products onto the truck.
2. Filling package orders which include super sacks.
3. Plant cleaning and maintenance - includes maintaining a clean work area as well as maintaining overall plant cleanliness.
4. Light maintenance. Previous pump experience preferred.
5. Basic Forklift. experience preferred but will train. will provide required certification to operate forklifts.
6. Role is considered an entry-level plant position with significant on-the-job training.

Required Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Plant or manufacturing environment experience.
3. Basic safety knowledge.
4. Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures.
5. Forklift experience preferred.
6. Pump experience preferred.
7. A successfully completed assessment test is required for this role.
