About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fund Accounting with a focus on credit hedge fund strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the valuation and financial control processes, particularly those related to credit investments. This role demands a self-starter who can independently manage valuation processes, lead valuation reviews, and develop automated P&L explain and attribution reporting. The VP will also be involved in challenging and investigating valuation variances, supporting new product launches, and driving the design and implementation of improved processes and controls. Strong technical fund accounting and financial control skills, as well as the ability to work with external service providers to ensure accurate and timely reporting, are essential. Applicants must have 8 to 10 years' of relevant experience in fund control, product control, valuations, fund accounting, or finance within a financial services environment. A professional accounting qualification is required, along with a strong understanding of credit products. The role requires the ability to challenge pricing and valuation assumptions, maintain strong control standards, and contribute to improvements in valuation governance and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
