As a Sweeper Operator at Pro-Vac...

You will help support our communities by keeping neighborhoods, roads, and waterways clean and free of pollutant build-up and damage. Our sweeping services help make Washington a better place to live by improving road safety, reducing flooding, and preventing water contamination. Every day, you will work in a new environment, collaborate with other sweepers on our team to increase the quality of your work, and receive one-one-one support from your supervisors that value getting to know their team members on a personal level. • Have a Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsement & Air Brake Endorsements

• Implementing safe work practices, as well as adhering to company, local and federal regulations.
• Demonstrating professionalism and excellence in customer relations and services provided.
• Operating equipment and driving, including Sweeper & Water trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Physical & Working Conditions
If you thrive working outdoors and hands-on, here's what this role demands:
•    Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs; frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights
•    Standing and moving for extended periods; operating vehicles across varied terrain
•    Perceiving auditory safety signals, verbal warnings, and radio communications in active field environments
•    Wearing all required PPE including OSHA-compliant respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, and safety footwear
•    Reading site documentation and accurately operating equipment controls
•    Working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and wet conditions
•    Maintaining situational awareness around active traffic, heavy machinery, and underground utilities
•    Working in confined spaces per applicable safety protocols
