Location: Des Moines, IA Extreme Cleaning, Inc. Lead Kitchen Hood Cleaning Technician Location: Des Moines, IA Pay: Starting at $22.00/hr and up based on experience Employment Type: Full-Time | Year-Round About The Role Extreme Cleaning, Inc. has been the go-to kitchen exhaust hood cleaning company since 2002, now operating across 14 states. We're looking for an experienced Lead Technician to join our Iowa team. You'll run a crew, manage job sites, and make sure every client gets a top-quality clean — on time, every time. What You'll Do Lead a crew of technicians on commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning jobs Power wash hoods, filters, ductwork, and rooftop fans to NFPA 96 standards Drive a company vehicle and manage equipment on job sites Ensure quality, safety, and efficiency on every job Travel regionally with occasional overnight stays What You Bring Prior experience in hood/exhaust cleaning, pressure washing, or related trade work Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Ability to lead a team and hold people accountable Comfortable working evenings, nights, and some weekends Able to climb ladders, access rooftops, and lift up to 50 lbs At least 18 years old Benefits Starting at $22.00/hr — higher for the right experience Overtime pay Bonus opportunities Health insurance with optional dental and vision (full-time) Paid time off (full-time) Year-round, stable employment
