Tesla Parts AdvisorAt Tesla, our Parts Advisors play an important role in service operations, offering fundamental support to both Technicians and customers in our mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.As a Parts Advisor, you will provide critical parts support to the service center; liaise with other departments, as well as focusing on the continuous development of your skills. You should have a passion for the brand and the ability to thrive in a team environment.ResponsibilitiesSource parts from Distribution Centers and other Service Center locations and allocate them to vehicle service appointmentsMonitor inventory within the parts system, communicate parts updates and availability with relevant team membersReview upcoming appointments and ensure they are properly prepared and documented in our system. Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service center locationsProcess and return warranty part shipments for quality assurance including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteriesSystematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order partsEscalate parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with Regional Parts Manager, acting as a point of contact to vendors and giving constructive feedback that will contribute to future improvementsPick up and transport parts using van or forklift, engaging third parties when necessaryRequirementsExcellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and customersThis role requires flexibility to support critical projects and deadlines, including occasional weekend or evening hoursEffectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlinesAble to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language on all levels.
