Production Technician

Production Technician, 2nd Shift

The Production Technician, 2nd Shift is responsible for operating and maintaining solids processing and CO₂ extraction equipment to support the production of botanical-based products. This role ensures processes are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot and support production operations in a manufacturing environment.

We are hiring for 2nd shift, M - F, 3:00PM - 11:30PM with flexibility to work some Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor solids processing and CO₂ extraction equipment
• Prepare and process raw materials to meet production specifications
• Ensure production processes follow established procedures and schedules
• Monitor and interact with automated equipment control systems during production operations
• Perform routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor adjustments to maintain operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues
• Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and cleaning prior to production runs
• Monitor production processes to ensure consistent product quality
• Collect samples and record data such as yield, temperature, and pressure
• Support quality standards and product specifications in coordination with QC and Lab teams
• Maintain accurate production logs, work orders, and operational data
• Assist with monitoring and handling of raw materials and inventory
• Support traceability and regulatory documentation requirements
• Follow all safety protocols, including handling of CO₂ and other materials
• Comply with cGMP and company standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency, yield, and product quality
• Support team efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce waste

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2+ years of production or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience operating PLC-controlled or automated processing equipment preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter, review, and maintain production records electronically
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and measurement devices
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Experience with CO₂ extraction or similar processing equipment preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 57 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and reach regularly
• Comfortable working around machinery and in varying conditions
• Ability to wear required PPE and work in a manufacturing environment
