For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants (CNA):

0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,000 (full time)

1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:

Under supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and according to established policies and procedures, performs various service duties to provide supervision, companionship, and support to the patient. Helps to maintain patient room in a clean and orderly condition. Specific duties may vary by area of assignment.The Bedside Companion - Acute Care role provides supervision and close observation of selected patients for identified behaviors.This role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: One year of relevant experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Certified Nursing Assistant I role.
