Mammographer - Full-Time

Location: Greensboro, NC Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8-hour day shifts Experienced Mammography + Breast Ultrasound: Up to $55.00/hour

Summary:

We are seeking three full-time Mammographers to join our team. Candidates with experience in both screening and diagnostic mammography are preferred, but we are willing to train qualified candidates who are not yet experienced in both areas. Recent Mammography graduates are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations safely and accurately
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service
• Follow AIDET principles and service excellence standards
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA requirements
• Properly use required PPE and radiation dosimeter badge
• Document patient information and examinations accurately in EMR/PACS systems
• Assist with lifting and positioning patients as needed
• Maintain a professional representation of DRI and uphold its Mission, Vision, and Values

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to stoop and assist with lifting or moving patients
• Ability to perform duties without physical restrictions

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT (M) certification in Mammography required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of experience preferred
• Recent Mammography graduates will be considered
• Willingness to learn and perform both screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA guidelines
• Strong verbal, organizational, and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced patient environment
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email
• Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and PACS systems
• Experience operating medical equipment and testing/measurement devices preferred
