Medical Director - Peptide Therapeutics

The Medical Director – Peptide Therapeutics will lead clinical strategy, scientific oversight, and medical governance for innovative peptide-based treatment programs. This role will help shape evidence-based approaches across metabolic health, longevity, regenerative medicine, and other emerging therapeutic areas. You will establish scalable clinical protocols while maintaining rigorous standards for patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with Clinical Operations, Product, Regulatory, and executive teams, you will translate emerging research into practical, patient-centered care models. You will also provide clinical leadership to distributed care teams and help guide the introduction of new therapies and services. The position offers significant influence in a fast-moving, remote-first environment where decisions are made quickly and medical expertise directly shapes the care experience. This is an opportunity for an experienced physician leader to help define the responsible evolution of peptide therapeutics within modern telehealth. Accountabilities: - Serve as the senior clinical authority for peptide therapeutics programs, ensuring high standards of patient care, clinical quality, and safety. - Develop, implement, and continuously refine evidence-based clinical protocols for peptide therapies across metabolic health, longevity, regenerative medicine, and other relevant indications. - Review emerging scientific literature, clinical studies, and real-world evidence to inform treatment protocols and clinical decisions. - Provide medical leadership for the introduction of new peptide therapies and expansion into additional clinical service lines. - Recruit, onboard, mentor, and supervise physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to promote consistent, evidence-based prescribing practices. - Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements related to telehealth, prescribing, pharmacy partnerships, and applicable peptide therapies.

- Partner with Product and Technology teams to incorporate clinical safety measures, treatment algorithms, and decision-support tools into the telehealth platform. - Monitor clinical outcomes, adverse events, and quality metrics, and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives. - Review patient education materials, provider training resources, and scientific communications from a medical perspective. - Support strategic relationships with pharmacies, laboratories, research organizations, and other clinical partners. - Advise executive leadership on clinical strategy, emerging therapeutic opportunities, and developments across the peptide therapeutics landscape. - Represent the clinical organization in scientific discussions, industry collaborations, and professional engagements as needed. Requirements: - MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U. S. state; multi-state licensure is preferred. - Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Obesity Medicine, or another relevant specialty. - 7+ years of clinical experience, including significant experience with peptide-based therapies and physician leadership. - Demonstrated expertise prescribing and managing a broad range of peptide therapeutics, including metabolic, regenerative, longevity, and other evidence-based treatment protocols. - Experience evaluating emerging clinical research and translating scientific evidence into clinical protocols and best practices. - Experience developing clinical guidelines, treatment pathways, and quality assurance initiatives.
