Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CST Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 5x8 (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid NH, CO, VA, WA, or IL license required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA Must-Have: Experience in scrubbing for surgeries Aseptic technique knowledge Experience with general, ortho, urology, and gynecologic surgeries Required certifications Description: We are seeking a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech for night shifts. Candidates must hold a valid license from NH, CO, VA, WA, or IL. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room is required. The position involves scrubbing for a variety of surgical specialties including general surgery, GYN, urology, colorectal, orthopedics, and more. Experience with adults and adolescents is necessary, while pediatric experience is preferred. Candidates should be proficient in aseptic technique and scrubbing during surgical procedures. Floating to the ambulatory surgical center may be required. Call coverage will be necessary as part of this role. Candidates must possess knowledge of sterilization techniques. Experience with Epic charting is preferred. The role involves a mix of inpatient care and is part of a community hospital setting. Specialty surgeries include orthopedic, vascular, neuro, trauma, bariatric, plastics, and podiatry. Familiarity with robotic surgery technologies such as Da Vinci XI, Cori, or MAKO is preferred.
