Position Details:
Are you a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine physician looking to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a supportive, high-performing team? UP Health System – Marquette, the regional leader in compassionate, cutting-edge care, is ready to welcome you to our Emergency Medicine family.
Hospital-employed practice with 9 current physicians, 3 PAs
20-bed Emergency Department in a level II trauma center, regional referral center
8-hr & 12 hr. shifts available.
12 to 15 shifts/month, with opportunity to seek additional shifts at associated rural critical access hospitals within our system.
Teaching affiliation with Michigan State University; medical students and family practice residents
Engaged and supportive practice environment
Approximately 1.6 patients per hour
36 hours of physician coverage per day, 12 hours PA coverage
EDIS EMR system in the Emergency Department, Cerner inpatient system
Full radiographic support including US, CT, MRI capability.
Dedicated reimbursed CME hours annually
