As the Assistant Retreat Director, you will be the driving force behind our front desk sales team. To support our team and guests, this role requires flexibility:

• Hours: Full-time (40+ hours per week), typically working 6 to 8-hour shifts.
• Mandatory Days: Fridays and Sundays are strictly required.
• Availability: Evenings, remaining weekend days, and holidays are also required.
• Flexibility: Ability to step in and cover last-minute shifts if a team member calls out and coverage cannot be found.

You will partner closely with the Spa Director to oversee all aspects of our Retreat operations. Your primary focus will be driving revenue, ensuring brand consistency, and stepping up as the Manager on Duty when the Spa Director is away.

Key responsibilities include:

• Sales Leadership: Lead by example. Hit your personal sales goals while coaching your team to meet and exceed membership and booking targets.
• Team Development: Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent. Lead the onboarding and ongoing training for Front Desk Associates, utilizing active coaching and role-playing to sharpen their sales skills.
• Operations & Scheduling: Directly supervise front desk operations and manage team schedules to ensure smooth daily execution.
• Culture & Guest Experience: Cultivate a positive, high-energy team environment. Take charge of the guest experience, building lasting loyalty by championing the Massage Heights operating system and our CLOUDNINE Commitment.
• Goal Setting: Collaborate with the Spa Director to set clear, motivating individual and team milestones.

Qualifications include:

• Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and hold a team accountable to performance standards.
• Sales Management: Minimum 1 year of sales management experience with a proven track record of hitting targets (please include specific sales metrics on your resume).
• People Skills: Strong background in training, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Attributes: A self-starter mindset with exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer Service: Passion for delivering top-tier customer service and managing guest relations.
• Tech & Math: Comfortable working with computers, standard software, and basic business math.

Preferred qualifications (a plus!) include:

• Experience managing hourly-wage employees.
• Previous experience with membership-based sales models.
• Hands-on experience with Zenoti or similar spa POS software.
• Experience working within a franchise model.
• Knowledge of the spa industry, massage, and skincare services.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
