The Manager, Cyber Risk Consulting leads and grows FM's Cyber Risk Consulting practice within FM Solutions. This role is responsible for advancing FM's cyber resilience advisory capabilities, developing and expanding client-facing cyber services, leading a high-performing consulting team, and strengthening FM's position as a trusted advisor on cyber risks that can affect industrial operations, physical assets, production facilities, and business continuity.

The Manager provides strategic leadership for Cyber Risk Consulting services, including IT and operational technology cyber assessments, cyber resilience advisory services, account-level cyber risk perspectives, and emerging cyber advisory solutions. The role ensures that Cyber Risk Consulting services are practical, technically credible, client-relevant, and aligned with FM's broader advisory strategy. The role supports client value, practice growth, service quality, team development, external thought leadership, and ongoing underwriting partnership by translating cyber risk information into clear, actionable cyber resilience guidance.

Cyber Risk Consulting Strategy, Practice Growth, and Service Development

• Own the Cyber Risk Consulting strategy within FM Solutions, including service direction, growth priorities, practice roadmap, team capability needs, and the evolution of current and future cyber resilience advisory offerings.

• Lead the continued development and expansion of Cyber Risk Consulting services beyond traditional assessments, including cyber resilience advisory services, account-level cyber risk views, resilience planning, and other client-focused cyber solutions.

• Identify emerging client needs, market expectations, broker feedback, and internal stakeholder priorities to guide service development and improve the relevance and value of FM's cyber advisory offerings.

• Support business development by helping identify client and broker needs, positioning Cyber Risk Consulting services, and partnering with Client Service Team and broker-facing teams to expand appropriate adoption of FM Solutions cyber resilience offerings.

• Use data from cyber assessments and advisory engagements to identify trends, improve client insights, guide service development, and support FM Solutions strategy.

• Define business needs, user requirements, service priorities, and reporting expectations for Cyber Risk Consulting tools, assessment workflows, data outputs, and client-facing deliverables, while partnering with technology, data, and operations teams responsible for platform development and support.

Client, Broker, and Market-Facing Advisory Leadership

• Serve as a senior external representative and practice ambassador for FM's Cyber Risk Consulting capability with clients, brokers, industry groups, and other external stakeholders.

• Regularly engage with senior client and FM leaders, brokers, account leaders, underwriting leaders, and other key stakeholders to explain emerging cyber risks, position Cyber Risk Consulting services, and align advisory work with client business needs.

• Help clients understand cyber resilience across IT, operational technology and industrial control systems, with particular focus on cyber events that could result in physical damage, production disruption, or broader business interruption.

• Support ongoing advisory relationships with clients in partnership with Client Service Teams and Field Engineers, helping clients interpret cyber risk insights, prioritize resilience actions, and identify additional Cyber Risk Consulting services that may support evolving needs.

• Work with FM Solutions, Account Managers, Client Service Teams, Field Engineers, Account Engineers, and underwriting partners to help prioritize Cyber Risk Consulting engagement based on client need, cyber risk relevance, strategic account value, and opportunity to deliver meaningful resilience outcomes.

• Represent FM externally through client meetings, broker discussions, advisory boards, conferences, industry forums, and other venues that strengthen FM's recognition as a leader in cyber resilience.

People Leadership, Team Development, and Delivery Quality

• Lead, develop, and grow the Cyber Risk Consulting team by setting practice vision, establishing service priorities, coaching team members, strengthening delivery quality, and building the capabilities needed to expand the advisory impact of Cyber Risk Consulting within FM Solutions.

• Manage team performance, priorities, resource allocation, delivery expectations, and professional development to support consistent, high-quality service delivery and long-term practice growth.

• Build the next generation of FM cyber advisors by developing team members' technical judgment, consulting skills, client advisory capability, executive communication, relationship-building skills, and external credibility.

• Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across Cyber Risk Consulting assessments, advisory engagements, recommendations, and client-facing outputs, while maintaining technical credibility, practical value, and alignment with FM Solutions' client advisory strategy.

• Partner with senior Cyber Risk Consulting team members, Engineering, Research, and other stakeholders to review significant client deliverables, recommendations, or sensitive advisory outputs when needed.

Assessment Oversight, Recommendation Standards, and Technical Credibility

• Provide strategic oversight for FM's IT and operational technology cyber risk assessment services, ensuring they remain technically credible, threat-informed, client-relevant, and aligned with FM Solutions' broader cyber resilience strategy.

• Own Cyber Risk Consulting recommendation standards to ensure guidance is consistent, practical, technically sound, client-relevant, and aligned with FM's advisory approach, while allowing appropriate professional judgment based on client context and risk conditions.

• Maintain sufficient cybersecurity expertise to make sound technical judgments, guide technical specialists, and represent FM credibly with clients, brokers, underwriting, and industry groups.

• Maintain awareness of relevant cybersecurity standards, frameworks, threat-informed practices, and industry guidance to support credible Cyber Risk Consulting services and practical client recommendations.

• Partner with the Cyber Risk Consulting team, Engineering, Research, industry groups, and external experts to monitor emerging cyber threats, attacker techniques, technology trends, and client exposures, using those insights to guide service evolution, assessment direction, recommendations, and client advisory priorities.

• Ensure Cyber Risk Consulting services continue to translate complex cyber topics into practical business, operational, insurance, and resilience guidance.

Internal Partnership, Underwriting Support, Enablement, and Enterprise Alignment

• Maintain an ongoing partnership with underwriting by providing cyber resilience insights that support informed risk evaluation and broader understanding of cyber-related physical damage and production disruption exposures.

• Work closely with FM Engineering and Research to ensure Cyber Risk Consulting services are technically sound, grounded in FM's physical risk expertise, and differentiated in the marketplace.

• Partner with Field Engineers, Account Engineers, Account Managers, Client Service Teams, Distribution, and broker-facing teams to position Cyber Risk Consulting services with clients and brokers, build awareness of cyber resilience offerings, and ensure coordinated delivery of client value.

• Partner with FM Solutions, Engineering, Operations, Learning, and client-facing teams to support shared training, guidance, tools, and messaging that help internal stakeholders understand and position Cyber Risk Consulting services effectively.

• Serve as a strategic content partner for Cyber Risk Consulting by helping shape the value proposition, messaging, client examples, advisory board materials, broker presentations, and external-facing content in partnership with FM Solutions, Marketing, account teams, and broker-facing teams.

• Lead decision-making for Cyber Risk Consulting priorities, service direction, team expectations, and delivery standards, while aligning significant strategic, technical, or operational changes with FM Solutions leadership and key partners across Engineering, Research, Underwriting, Operations, and client-facing teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, business, risk management, or a related field. Equivalent cybersecurity, insurance, consulting, advisory, or leadership experience may be considered.

• Minimum of 10 years of IT or cybersecurity experience required.

• Demonstrated experience leading teams, developing talent, setting priorities, and improving delivery quality.

• Demonstrated experience developing or growing consulting, advisory, risk management, cyber, or technical service capabilities.

• Experience engaging clients, brokers, senior leaders, and cross-functional internal stakeholders.

• Experience translating complex technical topics into clear business, operational, resilience, or risk management guidance.

• Experience influencing stakeholders and leading initiatives in a matrixed organization.

• Experience in insurance, risk engineering, underwriting, brokerage, risk consulting, or client advisory services preferred.

• Operational technology, industrial control systems, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, or physical operations cyber exposure preferred.

• Experience supporting service development, client-facing messaging, presentations, or external thought leadership preferred.

• Strong leadership, influence, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across FM Solutions, Engineering, Research, Underwriting, Operations, account teams, broker-facing teams, and clients.
• Ability to lead and grow a Cyber Risk Consulting practice, including service strategy, team development, delivery quality, client engagement, and practice visibility.
• Strong client advisory skills, including the ability to understand client needs, build trust, explain cyber resilience concepts clearly, and connect technical cyber issues to business priorities.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate cyber topics to senior client leaders, brokers, underwriting leaders, and internal executives.
• Credible cybersecurity judgment, with the ability to guide technical specialists, challenge assumptions, and make sound decisions when presented with complex cyber risk issues.
• Ability to translate cyber risk findings into practical, client-relevant recommendations and resilience guidance.
