Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. This role provides opportunities to build foundational field and environmental knowledge while supporting critical testing programs and customer needs.What You’ll DoTravel to customer and environmental testing sitesCollect, process and test environmental samples, including air, soil, water, and related mediaPerform field services using standard environmental support practices, including sample collection, test kit completion, and documentation of resultsPick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results as requiredPrepare vehicles for daily field operations, including instruments, supplies, kits, materials, documentation, and safety equipmentComplete and maintain logs, forms, databases, and other documentation accurately and timelyAssist with research and recommendations to resolve operational, customer, or employee issuesSupport the review and implementation of field/environmental programs to meet operational and organizational needsAssist with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; escalate issues when neededContribute to team effectiveness by offering suggestions for improvementsPromote Pace Analytical’s mission through professional, courteous, and cooperative interactions with customers and coworkersWhat You’ll BringHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience in related work preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceOne year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferredThe ability to travel with some overnight staysMust be comfortable operating a company vehicle equipped with GPS/telematics tracking and inward- and outward-facing safety cameras (no audio recording).Licenses and CertificationsValid driver’s licenseContinued employment is contingent upon maintaining all required licenses and certifications in active statusFind Your Place at Pace - We need you - your curiosity, your talents, and your drive - to help us advance this important work.BenefitsWhen you join Pace, you commit to work that makes a positive impact on our communities and our world.
